The Distance of the Moon
I listen to a lot of podcasts during my morning commute, including Radiolab. I was delighted when they published Italo Calvino's short story The Distance of the Moon. Such a wonderful story, and great to hear someone tackling the frankly ludicrous names!
Rethinking the Presentation
I was recently reminded of, and re-watched, this presentation by friend and colleague Ian Smith (follow him on twitter, or visit his homepage). What struck me was
- how good a presentation it is;
- how bad most of the other presentations I'm subjected to are
